If you happened to be watching the tracker on Propeller last night, you would have noticed quite a milestone. At 10:09 PM EST the story count rolled over into a 7th digit as the 1 millionth story was submitted.

And what a story! A rare piece of good news in a bad-news-driven media:

Xeno-oestrogens are chemicals from pesticides or plastics that mimic the effect of oestrogen and are fat-soluble so store themselves in the body. Many products, from lipsticks to tampons to spermicides, contain xeno-oestrogens.

A new site (Propellertalk) that will act as an ongoing forum for and about the Propeller social news site has successfully launched it’s first series of articles. Feedback has been both brisk and very positive. The maiden voyage has enjoyed a pleasant turbulence free flight in fair weather. We are pleased our first offering has been well received by the community. This has been a personally rewarding triumph for those of us involved with the launch.
